Everyone’s asking what’s planned for all that land around the Promenade in Center Valley. The proposal is called Promenade Park, a walkable neighborhood on roughly 130 acres surrounding Promenade Saucon Valley.

According to the development team’s current concept, the plan includes 850 apartments, 200 for-sale townhomes, 150 senior-living residences, a 150-room hotel, and up to 250,000 square feet of commercial space. About 60 acres are proposed as parks and natural areas, with trails, a dog park, and public access around Lake Thomas.

Those numbers describe a proposal, not a finished development. The mix, design, timing, and approvals can change. The developer still describes Promenade Park as a concept, so I would not treat any particular building or amenity as certain yet.

It would be a significant change for this part of Center Valley. I’ll keep an eye on the plans and update this as the project moves forward.

Where this information comes from

The figures and proposed amenities come from the Promenade Park development team. Arcadia Land Company’s project page identifies the project as a concept. These are the developer’s plans, not a guarantee of what will be built.
